The honest answer to that, would obviously be yes.

It's no so much a problem, as a lack of solution, in my case.

Stupid story arcs.

Yeah, go figure. My only source of irritation (IRRITATION, mind you) in this world, is the way my novels progress...or don't, in this case.

Rose is taking off again, but I've temporarily put Ryden's arc on hold, to make way for Shin, Mai and Kanako. Kana too, has sort of found herself just sitting there, and Mai I haven't even looked at.

Doesn't sound like much of a problem, huh?

It is, and it isn't.

I'm a master of making contradictory statements. But, back to the problem at hand.

Shin's arc is fine without any influence from Kanako or Mai's arc, and so too are the others independent of each other. But that may prove to be their downfall. What I had planned for Kana completely sets aside the need for any other character group until Ryden shows up in Anahara.

Similarly, Shin has no interactions with any of the other groups until yet again, Ryden returns home from his trip to Anahara, with Sakura, Kana and Rin in tow.

And Mai...I don't even know where to start her story arc from, let alone figuring out where she's going to meet up with the others. Mai is sort of the odd one out. She fits into the story, just the same as the other two. But because she isn't one of the four Knights, it becomes strange.

I don't have to write a Keeper scene for her, but I could. I just have to throw her straight into the story, but I could give her a series of powers. I can even hold her in the mid-realm for a few months and have her show up on Gaea completely unaware of what's going on. The list just keeps going on and on.

What's irritating, is that I can't seem to decide on what to do.

Kana's stuck for me, Shin is progressing almost at random and Ryden is just sort of sitting there, twiddling his metaphoric thumbs. Mai hasn't even come to the table yet.

Ah well. Seeing as its 3AM, I can somewhat understand why the ideas aren't flowing.

Oh well.
